The De La Salle University Herbarium (DLSUH) was established by Arthur Edward Salgado, FSC in the early 80s.
Originally with pteridophyte collections, the herbarium now holds significant collections on algae, bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms, and flowering plants. It includes special collections on the montane flora of Luzon and Mindoro islands, ultramafic and limestone soils, Philippine orchids and cycads, and useful plants like medicinals, cinnamon, fiber and biofuels.
